sophie's birthday today was sophie's birthday and we all celebrated with a trip to chuck e. cheese, an afternoon of playing, and then a pizza picnic movie night in the living room. ben had a great day, and he seemed to be very excited for sophie. he wasn't jealous of any of her gifts, and he was excited to give her the presents he picked out for her. as has become our tradition for the kids buying for one another, i gave him $5 and let him choose 5 items from the dollar section at target. he did really well and picked some nice things that were perfect for sophie, including some bubble bath, note cards for her to write in, and a cool picture frame for her room. he's a very sweet boy and kept wishing her a happy birthday. he's a very loving little brother!
