dinner with the ladies sophie is having her first sleepover at a friends house tonight and is staying overnight with the little girl next door. when we all walked over to drop her off, our neighbor nicole asked if it would be ok for ben to stay for dinner, too. she knew that he was too young for a sleepover, but had wanted to include him. i thought that was really sweet, and ben was really excited! he said, "yes!" right away and ran right into the house. he was there for about 2 hours - playing for a bit, then tacos for dinner and a brownie for dessert. then nicole, her two daughters, and sophie walked him back home. nicole said he was great and did really well... and i could tell how happy he felt to be a part of things with the "big kids." we're proud of our big boy!
