3T

ben is officially wearing all 3T clothing now. i guess that makes him right about average, since he's going to be turning three in a couple of months... but he used to always run a size or two behind his age, so it seems funny to me to be taking all the 2T stuff out of his closet already. he grew a ton over the summer and when we sat down last week to sort through all of his warm weather clothes from the spring, it was amazing to see how jeans that fit just fine in june are now way too short. he wanted to wear a pair of feetie pjs to bed the other night - they fit fine a few months ago, but he had to hunch over just to get them zipped! needless to say, we ended up with a pretty sizable "too small" pile. luckily, we had a bin of 3T hand-me-down loaners waiting from cousin Noah, and those are all fitting great. some of the adjustable waists need to be tightened, but that's great because i know they'll last him.

i can't believe how much bigger he seems lately. between all of the actual physical growth and the way he has changed developmentally over the summer - he just seems so much more like a little boy now.
