weekend with grandpa and gigi... and tractors sophie and ben spent saturday night at my dad's house while adam and i attended my ten-year high school reunion. both kids had been really looking forward to the sleepover, and they had a great time. ben spent a lazy sunday morning with grandpa while the girls went to church; they even snuck in a quick nap together before lunch! when we got there on sunday afternoon to pick them up, gigi and grandpa made a stop with us at the acton fair for a couple of hours, which the kids loved. my dad suggested stopping to check out the antique tractor pulls - and ben was absolutely mesmerized. this kid adores tractors, but this was unbelievable. i can't believe a two-year-old was content to sit and watch these tractor pulls for so long... he wouldn't leave until they were over. it was pretty adorable. we also let the kiddos take one ride on the carousel and then picked up some shaved ice as a treat while we walked back toward the parking area. both kids were sound asleep on the way home, but they had a fun weekend!
