crazy busy weekend phew. what a couple of days we've had! yesterday we had a big "lobserfest" gathering at adam's folks house with all the siblings and little cousins. the kiddos had a fabulous time, the weather was great, and we were all pretty tuckered out by the time we left. then today we started out with a stop by the berry family reunion where we visited for a couple of hours and had lunch. then onto cousin rigel's birthday party - tons of kids, even more toys, and lots of fun... but working on day number two of no napping because of the hectic schedule proved to be a bit much for ben. let's just say he wasn't exactly in his best form. not awful, and he played nicely and happily for the most part, but he had a few outbursts and even had a little pee accident while adam was helping him get upstairs to the bathroom. nothing a new pair of undies couldn't fix - but you could tell just how past his limit he was. he slept soundly the whole way home and after dinner was ready to head straight to bed. it was a great way to spend the weekend - just what summertime is all about!
