talking, talking, talking ben has had a real explosion in his use of language lately. he seems to be using more sophisticated sentences, and every day he uses a new word or phrase i haven't heard before. he's such a sponge and picks up so much listening to us and to sophie. he's also thinking all the time and tries so hard to express himself with his words. sometimes it takes him a few attempts to get us to understand him, but he will keep trying. he'll try to use another word or a description if he has to, and it's so much fun to see how he thinks. i'm really loving this stage - he's so smart and it's great to watch him learning more every single day.
