such a little monster ben can be so good most of the time - but then he has days where he is a total terror. this morning sophie had her first t-ball practice, and ben was all over the place. he wasn't listening to us and wasn't interested at all in just sitting and watching; he just wanted to run and run and run - right through the teams practicing. obviously it wasn't ok for him to be doing that - not only was he a distraction to the players, but its way too dangerous for him to be that near a crowd of kiddos learning to swing a bat. adam eventually had to bring him back to the car for the last ten minutes, during which he cried the whole time. it's so hard for him right now - he just wants to be involved. it will be a lot easier when he's just a little bit older and can participate in some of his own activities. now, this being said, he was so good this past week when i had to take him to sophie's ballet practice. he opened the waiting room door a crack and peeked in at the class, just sitting and watching. eventually the temptation got too great and he busted in the room with a dance of his own - but overall he was an angel.
