holy growth spurt, batman when digging out the summer clothes a few weeks ago, i realized that ben was going to need some sandals. he had a pair of nice flip flops in his closet that had been sophie's, but we tried them on and they were way too big. we made a stop at old navy one day and i grabbed a pair in the smaller size for him. they fit perfectly and he even walked around in them for a bit when we got home. two days ago when we put them on to go out and play, they were way snug. i mean, it looked like they'd probably hurt him if they were on too long. i think he only wore them twice! i couldn't believe it. so i ran upstairs and got the hand-me-down pair (the ones that had been WAY too big just weeks ago) and they fit great. his feet grew an entire size in less than a month! and then when we dropped sophie off for preschool this morning, her teacher commented that ben had grown over vacation. it was only a week!
