happy easter!

we had a really nice holiday. the kiddos were up raring and ready to hunt for eggs, which the easter bunny hid throughout the living room, kitchen and play room. they got a real kick out of finding them this year, particularly the ones hidden in silly places. we hung out in our pjs for a bit, then got ready for brunch at nana and grandpa's house. sophie and ben had fun playing with their cousins, jack and meredith, and before we headed home we made a quick stop at my grandmother's house to visit with my her, my mom, jeff, brianna, tara, cathy and ray. it was a little hectic, since ben was already past his nap time and both kids had already had more sugar then they usually get in a week, but it was fun nonetheless. we're now home just relaxing and having a lazy sunday evening... and i'm convinced the kids are now stocked with enough snacks to last them for months!
