maine maple sunday ... or in our case, saturday. we were planning to take the kiddos to a farm for maine maple sunday today, but actually ended up driving past a place that was open all weekend so we went yesterday. it was a cute little operation and they both thought it was pretty cool. we got to see a tapped tree and sample the sap right from the bucket. then we went into the sugar shack to watch the boiling process and the kids got some ice cream with warm maple syrup on top. before we left, we got a ride on a horse-pulled wagon, which was definitely the highlight for the kids!
