first bowling experience let's just say it was a bit more difficult than we'd expected, but that was probably our fault for not anticipating how excited the kiddos would be. ben did really well - he wandered around a little bit in the arcade area, but we were pretty much the only ones there so we let him walk around between his turns. his bowling was hilarious... he worked the whole between-the-knees technique and each ball took about 15 minutes to get all the way down the lane, but he had a blast. he took the whole thing pretty seriously and was awfully proud of himself. he had a mini tantrum when it was time to take the special bowling shoes off and get ready to leave, but he recovered pretty quickly. we'll definitely do it again sometime, but i think we'll wait a little while!
