...and she loves him, too! we usually have the kiddos put any money they get for birthdays and christmas into their bank accounts, maybe saving out a little bit to buy something small. so when sophie got a card from my aunt with $5 in it, i told her she could save it out pick something out for herself the next time we went to the store. she told me she wanted to buy a new car for ben. i thought that was adorable, but i wasn't going to hold her to it. but today when we were at the store, she wanted to head straight to the toy section. when I asked her what she wanted to look at, sure enough she said, "i want to pick out a car for ben." so she chose a new matchbox for him, and still had enough to get herself some new markers. what a good girl, huh? he was pretty excited about the new car and thanked sophie several times and told her how much he liked it. he's a lucky little guy!
