doing great

yup - he's definitely going to be done with diapers soon. currently, he's only wearing a diaper when he's in his crib - at night and during his nap. he's got some training pants for when we go out which makes it much easier when he has to use the potty - getting a diaper on and off each time was a pain, but these training pants just pull up and down like undies. he's been really good at telling us when he needs to go - either when we're driving or when we're at a store - and does well to hold it until we can get him to a potty.

the only trouble he's having is getting his underwear down by himself. often he'll just forget and sit on the potty before he pulls them down, or else he'll have to run and ask us for help. at home, we usually just leave him naked - and in that case, i don't even worry about it anymore. he goes when he needs to, without reminding or anything. its only when he's wearing underwear that i feel i need to check with him once in awhile.

we're super proud of him. and he's very proud of himself, which is always so cool to see.
