Fall Vacation Tonight is my first night back to work after a week off with my family. We didn't make any big plans for this vacation. Instead, we decided to take it easy, get some stuff done around the house, and generally enjoy each other's company. I have to say that overall it was a wonderful week. We had great weather (cool and dry, but not too cold). I think we managed to get a little bit of everything done, which is very satisfying. We went to a local fair where Sophia got to ride a pony, we went to Chuck E. Cheese where both kids had a blast playing games and running around, and Sophie got to have a sleepover at Great Grammy's house while Aimee and I got to have some quality Ben time. We also spent about a day and a half tilling up the front and side yards to get ready for a re-seeding and got some shopping done. I wish we had the chance to take a ride out to the White Mountains for some leaf peeping and road trip fun, but we had something come up at the last minute. Over all it was a great vacation, and I am already going through some serious family withdrawal. It was fun getting to spend so much time with the kiddos and really get to see how much they have grown lately. Just nine more months until next vacation...
