apple picking


this is a picture from our first trip of the season to the apple orchard. just how cute is this little man? i can't believe how big he looks here, though. and once again, let me give our annual shout-out to auntie katy for the adorable apple hat. after four years in a row, i think the hat is finally going to head into retirement in the tanguay household... but we sure got some great use from it! 

as for the apple picking - ben loved it, just like he loved picking blueberries this summer. he did a great job. he loved just running through the fields, too, and got an extra treat when he got to watch the big tractor out doing some mowing. he waved and yelled, "bye tractor!" for about a full minute after we had passed it. we'll surely head back a few more times before the season is through!
