7.29.2008 little berry-picker we've been blueberry picking a few times this summer at an orchard/farm about 5 minutes from our house. it's the same place we go apple picking in the fall. anyway, benjamin absolutely loves blueberry picking. i carry him on my back in our mei tai carrier, and he reaches out over my shoulders to pick. he grabs only the nice, ripe, blue ones and puts them directly into the container. he's going to be a huge helper in another year or two. and unlike sophie, who enjoys picking but doesn't like to eat them, ben could eat berries by the handful... which is part of why watching him pick is so cute, because as much as he likes them, he understands the protocol and doesn't eat them until we're done. he's such a smartie. posted at 7:00 PM by aimee // 0 comments
