19 months old ben is growing way too quickly. it feels like i was *just* marveling over the fact that he was turning a year and half - and now an entire month has already gone by! one big change that we have seen in ben this month is how much braver he has become physically. i think he's finally reached a height where so much more is accessible to him - so he's really exploring now. he can climb up into the little plastic toddler swingset in our yard with no trouble now. he also climbs the ladder for the bigger plastic slide we have and gets his feet out of the way and comes down all on his own (before he would sometimes get stuck at the top because he wasn't sure how to sit down the right way - it's not a very big landing). he has also found his way up onto the couch a couple of times, although it's still a pretty big challenge for him so its not a regular occurrence yet. the couch at my mom's is a bit shorter, though, and he's up and down on that one like it's nothing now. he's also tall enough to reach doorknobs now if he really reaches up on his tippy toes, although he wasn't figured out how to turn them yet. he's having so much fun exploring the pieces of the world that he couldn't quite get to before... and he's loving it!
