sleep milestone i do believe our little benjamin is finally sleeping through the night. it's been about a month now where he's been going through most nights - still waking to nurse maybe two or three days a week, then just one or two days - and now it's been nearly a week since he's gotten up at night (and that time was because of teething, i believe). i have to say that i do miss our quiet time together in the middle of the night, and part of me hopes that he'll still wake occasionally, but i am proud that it's just another marker of him growing up. i know a lot of babies hit this milestone well before 18 months and some moms are amazed that i was still having to get up in the middle of the night - but once it becomes a part of your routine, you just get used to it. he's never particularly demanding - he would wake, nurse, and then go happily back to bed in his crib. it was nice, really, and i'll miss it. but i suppose i am enjoying the nights of uninterrupted sleep and know that he's probably better rested now, too.
