progress...

we spent the weekend working on the playhouse. on saturday morning we met my dad at the home depot and he helped us pick up most of the materials we're going to need. we spent saturday afternoon and most of sunday working on it - we finished up all of the framing for the walls and got them up. the next step is the roof, then putting up the sheathing on the outside of the walls. hopefully we'll have it finished by the end of adam's vacation, which is the first week of june.

the kids are super excited already. once the walls were up, they could finally start to get an idea of what its going to be like. we put the walls up while ben was napping, so after he got up we all went outside to check it out. he was super excited and both kids just went running around inside from one window to another yelling "hi!" out to us. it was pretty awesome to see how much they loved it already.
