ben's little teacher the other evening ben was pretty cranky and we were trying to keep him entertained while dinner was cooking. sophie got out some flashcards for ben and started going over them with him. she's always trying to help teach him new things and she gets so excited when he actually copies her correctly. even though ben had his thumb in his mouth the whole time and wasn't really saying the words she was asking him (although he knows many of them), she kept telling him he was doing a good job. she told adam that she got the cards out to help make him happy. she's just so sweet sometimes... and ben really does look up to her. he loves being involved in whatever she's doing and tries so hard to keep up all the time.
