add two more to the list ben took two more tumbles today - each resulting in a tiny bit of bleeding from his upper lip. seriously, how does he do that twice in the span of about an hour? the first time, he fell sideways off a little ride-on toy that he was pushing up the hallway. he must have bit his lip on the way down, as there was a tiny cut. it was all i could do not to freak out when i first saw the blood, but thankfully it was just a super small amount. the second time he simply tripped walking into the kitchen, and again i guess bit his lip or bumped it on the floor. again a tiny bit of bleeding from his top lip, in a new spot this time. but like the first time, it was such a small amount that the bleeding had already stopped by the time i even found where it was coming from. both times i was right there when it happened and i feel horrible that i didn't catch him - it just happens so quickly. adam and i have both wondered if maybe he's going through a bit of a growth spurt... some rapidly added height or length in his limbs might explain why he's been exceptionally awkward and clumsy lately. or - it could just be that he's his father's son, haha.
