Evening with the kids I got the chance to spend the last night alone with the kids. We had gotten Aimee concert tickets for her birthday and last night was the concert. Sophia, Ben, and I had a great time! I was a little worried that they would be fussy since it was night and Mama wasn't home, but they didn't fuss at all and we played dress up, made dinner together, watched a movie and everyone had fun. Ben even spent a bunch of time pretend-feeding me some toy food and cuddling close to me on the floor. He never used to do much of that with me, but lately he has started to and it is great! I was also nervous about him going to bed, but it couldn't have been easier. He drank most of a cup of milk while I rocked him and Sophie read her books, then I put him down with his blanket and he didn't even make a peep. He just snuggled in and closed his eyes. It was an amazing night, and I'm so glad that I got the opportunity.
