breakfast with santa
adam and i had asked my mom to watch the kiddos for a couple of hours on saturday while we finished up some christmas shopping. when i asked her about it, she said it would work out great because she was planning to take tara to a "breakfast with santa" that the lions club was hosting on saturday morning. so we all met up first thing saturday and took the kids out to have some breakfast and see santa claus. ben doesn't really get the whole santa thing yet, but he enjoyed eating his breakfast at the table like a big boy on adam's lap and watching all of the kids that were there running around. he did sit with santa for a minute and we snapped a quick picture, but he wasn't interested in sitting there long. santa gave him a cute little construction truck from his bag of toys, which ben enjoyed playing with when we got home.

he did really well at grammy's house while we were shopping - he went down for his nap easily, ate a good lunch and was happily playing when we got back.
