Hanging out with Daddy and Grandpa

Saturday Aimee and Gigi shared a table at a small craft fair at Gigi's church. Daddy stayed at Grandpa Ben's house with the kids. This is the longest time that I have spent with the kids together without Aimee.

We really had fun. Ben ate a great breakfast, had a big poop (his second of the morning), and was happy and playful the entire time. We had to wake him up early that morning to get to Grandpa's on time, so he was very tired come nap time. I forgot the pack and play, so I was a little concerned that he was going to be cranky, but he stayed happy the whole time and even fell asleep in my arms. He hasn't done that since he was like two months old! I got to have a great cuddle with him while he took a quick nap and Sophia played with Grandpa.

When Ben woke up, we went and visited the girls at the craft fair, and Ben had fun looking at all the people. Then we went back to the house and had a yummy lunch. Then it was back to playing until the girls got home.

Ben did just great, and even though he was a bit tired by the time we left, he was good natured the whole time. I know Aimee was a little worried, since that was the longest she had been away from him since he was born, but everything went fine and we had a ton of fun.
