crafty day one thing about cloth diapering is that some of the diapers are so cute, it's a shame to cover them up with clothes! so about a month ago, i bought a package of plain white tees for ben, thinking that i could dye them to match some of his diapers or wool soaker covers. then i decided that i would try dyeing some of his prefold diapers, too (the "old fashioned" kind that a lot of people use as burp clothes) because that would make them super cute. so i gathered up a few other things, including tank tops for sophie and me, and we got set to do some dyeing. it was so much fun! i absolutely love how everything turned out. i wanted a muted, kind of natural color scheme, but wasn't exactly sure how to get it. i have never done this kind of thing before, so i just hoped for the best. but i was really pleased. now that i've done it once, i can't wait to get some more different colors and try some new techniques. anyhow - here's ben's new stash of tie-dyed goodies...
