first "playdate" a friend from high school came out to the house to visit today with her new baby boy. this is the first time we've gotten together with anyone with a baby that's roughly ben's age - the other kids we know are closer to sophie's age or older. so, even though ben's only 7 months old and reid is just nearly 4 months, i consider this ben's first little "playdate." both boys were asleep at the beginning, but once they were awake it was pretty cute to watch them checking each other out. i can imagine them thinking, "hey, there's another guy my size!" ben would probably have just crawled over reid if i'd let him, but i imagine in a few more months they'll have a lot of fun playing together.
