first finger foods and so ben had his first non-pureed food tonight... he ate some green beans right along with us, and then had a few gerber sweet potato puffs (which look kind of like cereal, but are veggie flavored and dissolve in baby's mouth). he loved it! he was so proud of himself and did really well. obviously, he'll still be getting the pureed stuff primarily, but i think we'll start adding in a bit of the finger foods at each dinner time - it will help him get used to it and let him feel like he's a part of what the rest the family is doing. i can't get over what a big boy he's becoming.
