yum, yum, yum since ben started having, sophie has been so excited to be able to help feed him. she does such a good job, too - she tries to be gentle and gets very animated trying to get him interested in the food. tonight she was giving him a few spoonfuls and was encouraging him with these cute "yum, yum, yum" noises. ben is doing better with the cereal. he's still learning and ends up spitting a lot of it back out (sometimes intentionally, sometimes not), but he's figuring it out - when i bring the spoon toward him, he'll open his mouth for it. so far he's only had rice. probably next week we'll add oatmeal... and after that will be some avocado!
