dinner alone... adam and i went out to dinner alone for the first time in a long time - certainly the first time since ben was born. we left sophie with adam's parents (she actually ended up getting sick and we had to cut dinner a little short to go get her), and ben stayed with my mom. i think he was there for just about an hour and a half. i fed him just before we left so he'd have a full tummy while we were gone (he refuses to take a bottle - more about that later) and my mom said she and tara played with him on the floor for a bit and then she walked around with him and he fell asleep. when we got back he was happily snuggled up with my mom on the couch. i admit that i was a little nervous leaving him, which i guess is to be expected, but i knew he was in great hands and he did fine. maybe next time we'll be able to stay away a little bit longer. what a big boy!
