two months old

wow. i can't believe ben is already two months old. i suppose being born just before the holidays made the time pass more quickly, but even so - it seems impossible that two months have passed already.

he has grown so much. he has started to outgrow some of his 0-3 month clothes and has already worn a few of his 3-6 month outfits. he's so strong, too, and often seems even older than he is. he is smiling all the time and even lets out a giggle here and there along with his coos. it's the most beautiful sound to hear him testing out his voice in new ways.

he is such a happy little guy. he likes to be held - he will sleep on his own, but when he is awake, he wants to be where the action is. it makes things a little more challenging sometimes, but with the sling and simply taking a little more time to get things done we make it work. i love to have him included in all of our family time, so it is nice that he wants to be with us, too.
