Waiting . . . So, 3 hours left until it is officially Ben's due date. Not too long ago it seemed to be coming up so fast and we were worried that we wouldn't have time to get things in order before he came. Now it seems like he will never get here. I'm sure many parents experience the same feelings. I am so excited to have a little baby to hold again. I really hope that Sophia gets along with him. I have this image in my head of my two children playing together and being best friends. I'm sure that isn't an unusual thought either, and I know that it can be a challenge. We couldn't have planned the timing on this pregnancy better. Sophia and Ben will be just under two years apart in age. Hopefully that will mean that while they will be close enough in age to share some interests and play together, they will be far enough apart that they will be able to develop independently as well. I look forward to being able to spend time alone with each of my children, as well as spending family time together.
