protective sister yesterday afternoon we all made a quick run to the grocery store. adam had gotten sophie out of the car and they were waiting while i got ben out and put him in his sling. there was a dog in one of the nearby cars and it was barking. sophie looked over at the dog and put her finger to her lips and said, "shhhh puppy... shhhh puppy... don't wake the baby." she was so concerned that the dog was going to wake ben up - it was so sweet.
