first thanksgiving

benjamin spent his first thanksgiving surrounded by family yesterday. we went to my grandmother's house for a lunchtime thanksgiving meal with my mom, sisters, grandparents, aunt, and brianna's boyfriend. we had a nice time visiting and everyone enjoyed holding and looking at little ben. he slept almost the whole time we were there and i held him while he slept right through the meal. afterward, we headed over to adam's parents' for a quick visit with his family. his brother and family were up for the weekend, so we spent about an hour introducing benjamin and catching up a bit. again, ben stayed asleep and didn't mind being passed around and held by new people. we got home and had a nice quiet evening watching christmas movies and setting up the tree (we'll decorate it today). we all had a very nice holiday and loved sharing it with our new little guy.
