Didn't he hear the dinger?

4 days over due and no encouraging signs. I know we are at least 4cm dilated and that labor could come on at any moment, but it feels like it will never come. I really want to spend as much time home with Ben and my girls as I can before going back to work, and the later he comes the less time I will have. Originally I was going to take two weeks off from work, but that isn't going to be an option right now. Then I was hoping to get at least a week in, but if he doesn't come until Tuesday I won't even get that. I just hope if it goes that long they don't end up delaying the induction because the hospital is too busy. That would not leave me with much time at all.

I never expected we would have gone this far overdue, and going a whole week over seemed impossible. The closer we get, however, the more likely it seems. Isn't there a button or something that we can push to get him out? He is all done cooking and we just can't wait to meet him. Part of the impatience for wanting him now is that I know Aimee is very uncomfortable and experiencing more pain than she lets on. I also am just impatient to meet him and hold the newest addition to the family. I am also worried about things going well, and that anxiety won't be gone until Ben is born.

Ben! It's time. You are done cooking. Didn't you hear the dinger?!?
