painting? check the nursery is now officially painted. i only had to do the top half of the room to cover the pink that we'd had for sophie (the bottom is a sage green that matches the bedding set). i started doing the edging on saturday morning and yesterday i finished up with the rolling of the bigger sections. it looks really nice - i'm happy with the shade of blue we picked. now i just have to add the finishing touches (stuff on the walls, etc) and clean up the odds and ends that ended up in there while we weren't using the room, and it should be all set. i feel so much better now that its done. i bought the paint almost as soon as we confirmed we had a little boy coming and got the room more or less ready to paint, but i just never got around to actually doing it. it funny how it looks like a different room now, just with that little bit of paint. it makes it feel so much more real that we'll actually bringing home a new baby in the not-so-distant future.
