first nursery project

adam and i have been working on getting sophie totally moved out of the nursery and into her new room. as of now, the only things of hers that are in the nursery are the clothes hanging in her closet. everything else is baby stuff that we'll be keeping in there. because we've moved sophie's bureau into her new room, there was finally room for the baby's changing table in the nursery. yesterday, adam and i decided we'd put it together. it took a bit of time, but sophie was a big help and mostly just played around us while we worked, and it really all went together pretty easily. its nice to have something new for this baby that wasn't sophie's. it makes the preparation feel more real, i think.

anyhow, i really like new changing table. its got three drawers on one side, and a small cabinet door on the other side with one shelf inside. i've already got the baby washes and lotions put away in there. i am getting really impatient to find out if we've got a boy or a girl coming so i can get working on finishing up the nursery preparations. right now its just kind of in limbo until we know. we'll know in less than a week, though!
