spreading the news... we've finally told all of the grandparents now. we were waiting to tell my dad and stepmother in person, but plans fell through last weekend... so my dad came by for lunch on saturday and we told him then. sophie wore her big sister t-shirt again and he noticed it almost as soon as he came in. it's exciting that now we don't have to keep it a secret anymore. we wanted to be sure we told our parents and siblings and such personally, so we've been careful about who knows until those people were told. now we can start telling more friends and whatnot. i have my first appointment tomorrow. it's just a nurse appointment where we'll go over a bunch of history and paperwork and i'll have bloodwork done - but it's still exciting because we'll get to see the office and everything. i'm a little nervous about switching practices, just because we were so familiar with the other place - but i really think this will work out better for us. i'm hoping that i can convince the nurse to give us a quick listen for the heartbeat. we'll see!
