argh!

so... today was supposed to be our first appointment. it was only a nurses appointment, but i was still anxious to go and meet the people there and check out the new practice we chose. adam adjusted his schedule a bit so he could come, and we were all set for an appointment at 2:00. well, as i was getting out my paperwork they had mailed me to fill out, i noticed the slip with the appointment times on it. they had scheduled this appointment and my first ob appointment when i first called them - so i had both appointment dates and times. apparently, i remembered the times of the appointments backwards... so our appointment with the ob in two weeks is at 2:00... the appointment today was at 9:00 this morning! it was nearly 11:30 when i realized the mix up... so we obviously missed it. i was so angry! i can't believe that both adam and i never noticed the wrong time - and i was a little bothered that i never got a reminder call from the office. i've always gotten reminder calls for any appointments - doctor, dentist, etc - and for whatever reason we didn't get one this time. go figure. i called as soon as i realized my mistake, but they didn't have another available time to see us until next tuesday. a whole other week to wait! oh well - i know it will be here before we know it, but i sure am disappointed... and really feeling like an idiot!
